Hello, my name is Deedra.

I am an MK, PK, TCK and single missionary which just means that I love Jesus and people and am not sure where to call home.

My life started off in the Philippines where I joined my missionary parents and two older sisters outside of Clark Air Base. We moved to the United States permanently the summer I turned 10. I vividly remember the moment I decided I wanted to follow Jesus and the moment I knew my life would be one of missions and ministry.

Ministry as an adult started off at Multnomah University as a Resident Director in the women’s dorm. I learned that I loved walking along side of women as they sought to follow Jesus and learn to trust him. Many hours were spent listening, praying and pointing women to Jesus. My couch with a hot beverage became a sacred and holy place as women trusted me with their hearts and we encountered Jesus together.

As I moved back into missions with Cadence International I had the privilege to continue walking along side of women following, serving and trusting Jesus. Sacred and holy places were offered and we encountered Jesus together in the US, Europe, Asia and most recently in Cambodia.

Ministry and missions are my passions and my favorite way to serve is walking along side believers and encountering Jesus together as we seek Him to be our all that He has promised to be.

I currently live in the Denver, CO working with CUPbearers Inc. and continue to mentor, disciple and teach women in the US and around the world. My podcast and retreats are yet another way to encourage life changing encounters with Jesus.
